Our department's vision is to build a Data-Driven IONOS Group. Our mission is to connect AI and BI, to evolve our platforms and to empower our customers.
As the central provider of the corporate BI platform and state-of-the-art AI solutions we are supporting data driven decision making all across the IONOS Group.
Taking these strategic objectives the team focuses on the white spots in our CTO area which can be optimized with proper analytics abilities.
The team fulfills the full stack development lifecycle over each of the Plan, Build and Run responsibilities. This means we engineer requirements, develop, test and deploy our ETL, Data Warehouse and Reporting / Dashboarding artifacts by always staying in close touch with our stakeholders.
Our project portfolio consists of automated Scorecards for the Technical Operations division as well as the Information Security division to have an analytical overview on our 31 operated data centers with thousands of managed servers and to keep a strong eye on the security measures and processes the group is taking in action.
Also we support the other Data Solutions teams with knowledge and experience of Data Warehouse backend and BI frontend development, application management and operations regarding their challenging projects and products.
What we’d like from you:
- Confident in modeling data on analytical purposes, knowing Business Intelligence patterns;
- Practical multiple year experience using SQL and ETL Tools;
- Well versed with Database Management Systems like PostgreSQL, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server;
- First experience with third party data modeling tools like the Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Service;
- Analytical and creative mindset with a structured, team-oriented way of working;
- Enjoy communicating and interacting with colleagues at all levels of the organization;
- High degree of initiative, quick comprehension, creativity and enthusiasm for exciting tasks;
- Affinity for familiarizing yourself with complex topics and a structured approach to implementation.

Main responsibilities:
- Main focus is on developing BI solutions within dynamic projects or supporting our customers by providing analytical datasets;
- Requirements elicitation and analysis for the implementation of new BI solutions;
- Coordination with internal/external stakeholders within the organization for the development and implementation of new data processes and adjustments to the existing ones
- Continuous and independent further development of the product portfolio of the department
- Guidance of colleagues with different levels of experience
