Um dieses Thema noch ganzheitlicher zu betrachten und dafür notwendige Strukturen aufzubauen, suchen wir Dich als Experte für Business Continuity Management.

• Du entwickelst ein Business Continuity Management System im Sinne von ISO 22301, setzt dieses um und übernimmst das Ownership für seine kontinuierliche Verbesserung. Dabei behältst Du sowohl produktbezogene technische als auch allgemeine nicht-technische Geschäftsprozesse im Blick.
• Du schulst und sensibilisierst unsere Kolleg*innen in allen Funktionen und auf allen Ebenen für das Thema Business Continuity Management. Um das Thema erfolgreich steuern zu können, vernetzt Du Dich auch mit wichtigen Stakeholdern bis zum C-Level.
• Du führst regelmäßige Business-Impact Analysen und Risikoanalysen durch, um potenzielle Bedrohungen für die Geschäftstätigkeit der Mail & Media zu identifizieren. Du schlägst auch wirtschaftliche Maßnahmen zur Risikominderung vor und verfolgst ihre Umsetzung.
• Du entwickelst Pläne zur Sicherstellung der Geschäftskontinuität und zur Reduzierung von Ausfallzeiten bei Notfällen, z.B. durch Cyberangriffe oder andere, planbare und unplanbare Ereignisse.
• Du planst und koordinierst bereichsübergreifende Notfallübungen, sorgst dabei für die Transparenz der Ergebnisse bei allen Stakeholdern und verfolgst die Umsetzung der „Lessons-Learned“.

Du bist aufgeschlossen, arbeitest gerne mit Menschen zusammen und bist in der Lage, in kurzer Zeit ein firmenweites, belastbares Netzwerk aufzubauen? Du kannst vom Junior Engineer bis Vorstand auf Augenhöhe kommunizieren? Du hast ein technisches Studium oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung abgeschlossen? Du hast mehrjährige Erfahrung im Business Continuity Management im digitalen Umfeld? • Du hast ein Studium der (Wirtschafts-)Informatik oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Dazu hast Du auch bereits das Thema Business Continuity Management in einem agilen digitalen Unternehmen entscheidend vorangebracht.
• Du hast ein ganzheitliches und fundiertes Verständnis der Geschäftsprozesse und Betriebsabläufe, sowie regulatorischen Anforderungen und Sicherheitsrisiken eines großen digitalen Unternehmens. Zertifizierungen im Bereich Business Continuity Management, wie z.B. Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) sind von Vorteil.
• Du bringst einen sehr starken technischen Background mit, um unsere Produkt-Teams kompetent beraten zu können. Optimalerweise hast Du sogar Hands-On Erfahrung mit modernen verteilten IT-Infrastrukturen, z.B. als Site Reliability Engineer, Architekt oder Security Engineer.
• Du hast eine hohe Change-Kompetenz, kannst in einem großen Unternehmen erfolgreich navigieren und belastbare Ergebnisse erzielen. Dabei helfen Dir Leadership-Skills und ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten, um komplexe Probleme schnell zu erkennen und effektive Lösungen unter Druck zu entwickeln.
• Deine Fähigkeit, in allen Situationen und auf allen Ebenen mündlich und schriftlich empfängergerecht zu kommunizieren (in Deutsch und Englisch, beides aus C1 Niveau) rundet Dein Profil ab.

In order to meet this high level of responsibility, the topic of business continuity plays a particularly important role in our day-to-day work, alongside security and high availability. We are looking for you as an expert in business continuity management to take an even more holistic approach to this topic and build the necessary structures.

• You will develop a business continuity management system in line with ISO 22301, implement it and take ownership of its continuous improvement. You will keep an eye on both product-related technical and general non-technical business processes.
• You will train and sensitize our colleagues in all functions and at all levels to the topic of business continuity management. In order to successfully manage the topic, you will also network with important stakeholders up to C-level.
• You will carry out regular business impact analyses and risk analyses to identify potential threats to Mail & Media's business activities. You will also propose economic risk mitigation measures and follow up on their implementation.
• You will develop plans to ensure business continuity and reduce downtime in the event of emergencies, e.g. due to cyber-attacks or other planned and unplanned events.
• You will plan and coordinate cross-divisional emergency drills, ensure transparency of results for all stakeholders and follow up on the implementation of lessons learned.   

Are you open-minded, do you enjoy working with people and are you able to build up a company-wide, resilient network in a short time? Can you communicate at eye level from junior engineer to board member? Have you completed a technical degree or comparable training? Do you have several years of experience in business continuity management in a digital environment? • You have successfully completed a degree in (business) informatics or comparable training. You have also already made a decisive contribution to the topic of business continuity management in an agile digital company. 
• You have a holistic and in-depth understanding of the business processes and operational procedures, as well as regulatory requirements and security risks of a large digital company. Certifications in business continuity management, such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), are an advantage. 
• You have a very strong technical background to be able to advise our product teams competently. Ideally, you even have hands-on experience with modern distributed IT infrastructures, e.g. as a Site Reliability Engineer, Architect or Security Engineer. 
• You have outstanding change competence, can navigate successfully in a large company and achieve dependable results. Leadership skills and strong analytical skills will help you to quickly recognize complex problems and develop effective solutions under pressure. 
• Your ability to communicate appropriately for the audience in all situations and at all levels, both verbally and in writing (in German and English, both at C1 level) rounds off your profile.
