Ihre Aufgaben:

Main responsibilities:

  • develop and maintain high performance VoIP backend;
  • develop and enhance test system framework for automated VoIP testing;
  • be directly involved in open-source projects;
And, most of all, you will be a part of our dynamic team!

We appreciate:

  • advanced knowledge of C programming language, basic C++ knowledge;
  • practical experience with application programming in C under Linux (Posix, operating systems concepts);
  • fundamental networking concepts understanding;
  • knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash);
  • experience with databases (MySQL, Redis);
  • excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills;
  • good ability to speak and understand English.

Would be a plus:

  • knowledge of performance analysis tools (profilers, trace tools, etc.);
  • a good VoIP (especially SIP) technologies understanding;
  • knowledge of Kamailio/ Opensips or Asterisk project to a lesser degree.

About the team:

We are a software development team, part of the Access division, responsible with the development of VOIP communication products offered to our German market. Join us to develop and maintain Kamailio and RTPEngine servers, enhancing call routing, tracing, and QoS traffic for customers. Contribute to open-source projects and develop features like high availability, redundancy, and system optimization. Work on lawful interception software for governmental requests, call monitoring solutions, and a Java-based Call Tester tool for Customer Support. Maintain a VoIP test system using Linux, networking knowledge, and SIP protocol expertise. Develop tests with a custom Python wrapper over SIPP and implement a container-based parallelization solution for multi-user access.
